GLASS-TO-METAL SEALS

Sensor Packages

Innovate your design with a customized glass feedthrough.

Hermetic feedthroughs are critical for many sensor applications. Usually, they act as an interface between the sensing device, which is exposed to the medium, and the sensor electronics. Prominent applications include: Humidity-, vacuum-, flow-, level-, density-, temperature- and pressure- sensors. Our sealing technology allows us to manufacture completely bright oxide-free sensor housings (including titanium), without the need for chemical or mechanical post-treatment.

Joining technology for various materials.

In addition to just sealing glass to metals, we can integrate ceramics, sapphires, glass-ceramics and other high-tech materials into the seals, enabling our customers to innovate their niches with new sensor principles. Using our in-house developed precision furnace equipment, we can guarantee a superior level of quality and precision. Our high degree of vertical integration with manufacturing of fixtures, housings and pins gives us extra flexibility to prefectly serve our customer’s needs.
