Hermetic feedthroughs play a vital role in many sensor applications. Usually, they act as an interface between the sensing device, which is exposed to the medium, and the sensor electronics. Prominent applications include: Humidity, vacuum, flow, level, density, temperature and pressure sensors. Our sealing technology allows us to manufacture completely oxide-free titanium feedthroughs, without the need for chemical or mechanical post-treatment.

Sapphire lenses for optical sensors.

Optical sensors (e.g. for process analytics) can benefit greatly from the hermetic integration of sapphire lenses. Compared to other options, the glass-sealing process greatly increases the robustness and environmental capabilities of these devices. Using our in-house developed precision furnace equipment, we can guarantee a superior level of quality and precision. Our high degree of vertical integration with manufacturing of fixtures, housings and pins gives us extra flexibility.
